A magazine measured in watts

Directed energy removes the round from the engagement.

Every kinetic counter-drone system loses the exchange on cost and on logistics: the interceptor is more expensive than the target, and there are only so many of them on the vehicle. A laser changes the accounting. The turret expends electricity, so depth of magazine becomes a question of power generation rather than resupply, and nothing falls back down onto whatever is underneath the engagement.

Folding the aircraft inside its own diameter

A coaxial stack that stows as a sealed tube.

A conventional quadcopter is a flat X, and that shape is what stops it fitting through a doorway at speed, riding on a belt, or clearing a stairwell without catching an arm on something. Folding a coaxial rotor stack inside the body diameter turns the aircraft into a cylinder when it is not flying. What the operator carries has no protrusions; what unfolds has no arms to snag.

A control link that does not surrender

Unjammable command and video.

An FPV airframe is worth precisely as much as its link. Contested electromagnetic conditions are not an unlikely edge case. They are the exact circumstances the aircraft was bought for, and they are when most airframes become ballast. Holding the link is what converts endurance and payload into something a unit can actually rely on.

No effect without a positive human action.

Target selection and engagement require a human decision, and loss of link commands abort rather than autonomous attack. This is enforced in the control software and recorded in an immutable log, not a configuration flag that a deployment can quietly turn off. Automation handles flying, stabilising and tracking; the decision to act stays with a person.

Payload bays and mounting interfaces are documented. Fit a third-party sensor to VALNAR's hardpoint, configure HUGINN's payload section yourself, or cue HEIMDAL from the air picture you already operate. A capability you cannot modify is a capability you do not really own.
